Walkers is pleased to announce that, having seen off competition from both law firms and accountancy practices island-wide, Arikka Farley has received the 2016 Rising Star Award from the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association (“RISA”) in the Cayman Islands. RISA is INSOL’s Cayman Islands chapter. Each year members are invited to nominate individuals for the RISA Awards which, in addition to the Rising Star Award, include Lawyer and Accountant of the Year. The Rising Star Award is awarded to the most promising Caymanian insolvency lawyer or accountant below three years PQE.
Arikka, who qualified into the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group at Walkers after a successful articled clerkship, has already worked on some of the jurisdictions’ premier mandates. She has become an integral member of Walkers’ internationally recognised, premier insolvency and corporate recovery team.
